Rep Blumenauer and Rep Perlmutter Inrtoduce Emergency Cannabis Small Business Health and Safety Act

I hope this message finds you in good health and spirits during this difficult time. I’m writing with some important breaking news from Washington, D.C. Reps. Earl Blumenauer (D-OR) and Ed Perlmutter (D-CO) just introduced the Emergency Cannabis Small Business Health and Safety Act in the House of Representatives. This critical legislation would allow legal cannabis businesses to access disaster relief loans and other programs available during the COVID-19 crisis. Our team has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to carry the message that #CannabisIsEssential and should be able to access all the relief programs offered to other small businesses. This work on behalf of the cannabis industry is only possible because of the nearly 2,000 responsible businesses that support it through their membership with NCIA. Do you think the cannabis industry should be represented in our nation’s halls of power?
