Minority-Owned Cannabis Company Plant Inspired Future “PIF” fortifies C-suite hires Cannabis Veteran as Chief Strategy Officer

NEW YORK (December 2, 2019) – Plant Inspired Future Inc. (“PIF”) announced the hiring of Landon Dais, a veteran cannabis executive with a proven track record at cannabis companies such as MedMen Inc., Marijuana Policy Project, as Chief Strategy Officer.

“Landon’s well-rounded strategy, policy, and legal experience in cannabis, and his success in working for MedMen, one of the largest multi-state cannabis companies is a tremendous value-add to our company. His multi-state cannabis experience will be instrumental as PIF moves to operate in Michigan and New York,” said Julio Casado, PIF co-founder, and chief executive. “His appointment underscores our commitment to investing in a strong management team with a track record of execution. It is challenging to find experienced cannabis executives in our industry, and our ability to recruit Landon is a major win for our company and our investors. As PIF business continues to evolve, it is paramount that we have the right talent to execute at each stage of our growth.”

Dais’ experience includes serving as National Director of Partnerships for MedMen, Political and Compliance Director for MedMen. He was the Political Director for the Marijuana Policy Project of New York. Currently, he is Of Counsel at Forchelli, Deegan, and Terrana LLP and helps lead their Cannabis practice.  

“I look forward to working with PIF’s talented team to advance its growth plan,” Dais said. “We will focus on becoming a well established multi-state cannabis company, with an eye on expansion in states with well regulated licensing structures. Additionally, as we continue to acquire assets, we will also expand our social impact programs. Our goal is to ensure people and communities impacted by the immoral War on Drugs will benefit from our presence.” He will report to CEO Julio Casado and will oversee Strategy, Licensing, Government Affairs, Legal, Mergers and Accusations, and Political Communications. Dais’ appointment is effective immediately.
